Top-level Ukrainian delegation at JCC Ukraine Business Roundtable

The JCC Switzerland-Georgia Business Roundtable on “New Business Reforms and Opportunities for Swiss Companies in Georgia” took place on June 20, 2019 at OBC Suisse, Zurich. The interactive roundtable event brought together Georgian Ambassador David Jalagania and three Swiss companies in agribusiness, financial services/BPO and infrastructure with members of the Swiss business community interested to learn about Georgia as a business destination.

The roundtable program began with an in-depth presentation on Georgian economic outlook and priority sectors for investment by Ambassador Jalagania. This was followed by a glowing testimonial from Max Blauenstein, Founder and CEO of Blauenstein Georgia who has a large cattle farm, meat processing facilities and delicatessen shops in Georgia. Normunds Mizis, Chief Credit Officer, BlueOrchard Finance Ltd., showcased Georgia as well-suited to business process outsourcing operations. Joerg Matthies, Partner & Managing Director, IM Engineering Eurasia. described the many opportunities in renewable energy and transport infrastructure available for investment in Georgia. The event was capped by a networking reception featuring a range of Georgian wines.
