Three regions showcased at JCC Russia Regional Day

JCC held its annual Russia Regional Day in webinar format on October 5, 2020. The title of the virtual event was Russia From East to West: Business Opportunities for European Companies in the Russian Far East, Central Siberia and North West.

The webinar, moderated by Dorit Sallis, JCC Managing Director, opened with a welcome word from Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Switzerland Mrs. Tatiana Volozinskaya. This was followed by a presentation on the current macroeconomic landscape by Tadzio Schilling, CEO, European Business Association Russia and a guideline to European companies investing in Russia by Falk Tischendorf, Managing Partner, BEITEN BURKHARDT Moscow.

Three Russian Regions were showcased: The Russian Far East and its logistics/port infrastructure, tourism and acquaculture sectors were presented by Roman Sementsov, Director, Investment Department, Far East Investment and Export Agency of the Russia Federation. Sergey Ladyzhenko, CEO, Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation discussed investment opportunities in Yenisey Siberia. St. Petersburg and four regions of Northwest Russia were examined by Andreas Bitzi, Head, JCC Russia, Member of the JCC Board and CEO, Quality Partners.

Sergey Avramov, Chairman of the Management Board, Asian-Pacific Bank laid out  investment opportunities in the Russian Far East and financing services provided by the Asian-Pacific Bank.
