JCC welcomes H.E. President Imomali Rahmon of Tajikistan
The Joint Chamber of Commerce (JCC) welcomed H.E. President Imomali Rahmon of Tajikistan to a business meeting which it organized with representatives of select Swiss companies, EDA and SECO at Dolder Grand Hotel, Zurich on November 6, 2019. President Rahmon who was in Switzerland for a working visit was accompanied by a delegation of ministers and company directors. After a presentation by the President, three MoUs were signed in his presence. JCC represented by Dorit Sallis, Managing Director concluded an MoU with the Tajikistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry represented by Chairman Jamshed Jumakhonzoda. Federico Sommaruga, Head of International Relations, Switzerland Tourism signed an MoU with the Ministry of Tourism of Tajikistan. Glencore and Tajikistan Aluminium Smelting Company (TALCO) also penned an agreement. Following a presentation on Tajikistan as an investment destination by Kurshed Mirzo, Director, Tojinvest, the Swiss and Tajik delegations networked over lunch.
