Impact of Geopolitics on Ukraine’s Economy
On February 22, 2022 the JCC Ukraine Chapter held a webinar to examine how Ukraine’s economy is fairing and to present the 2022 economic and financial outlook for the country. The webinar moderated by Sven Henniger, Partner, Henniger Winkelmann Consulting, JCC Board Member and Head, JCC Ukraine Chapter focused on questions of growth in 2022, interest rates, IMF support and the relative strength of Ukraine’s economy compared to 2014. Panelists Serhii Kolodii, Senior Macroeconomic Manager and Head of Research, Raiffeisen Bank Ukraine and Andreas Schwabe, Senior Credit Portfolio Manager, Raiffeisen Bank International provided an in-depth assessment of the macroeconomic situation and discussed the risks and opportunities.
