Assessing options for foreign business in Russia

The JCC Russia Chapter continued its series of webinars to help members navigate the challenges of sanctions and counter-sanctions. The webinar on May 18 focused on “Strategies for  Russia-Based Business in a New Reality.” The webinar began with an overview of the current business conditions in Russia by Andreas Bitzi, Chair, JCC Russia Chapter and CEO, Quality Partners Russia. This was followed by a legal overview of the different scenarios that companies can implement currently by Falk Tischendor, Partner, ADVANT Beiten. Irina Saadeva, Head of Legal, Quality Partners Russia and Andreas Bitzi then examined how the different scenarios work in practice and highlighted possible pitfalls.
