Assessing 2025’s multi-vector risk landscape
2025 presents a complex and uncertain risk landscape. Geopolitical tensions, cybersecurity threats, technological disruption, environmental conditions and different economic growth trajectories are just some of the issues that will shape the global environment. Joint Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Eastern Europe, Central Asia, South Caucasus (JCC) markets in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the South Caucasus will be exposed to these risks and face some specific to the region.
JCC kicked off the new year with an assessment of the global and regional risk landscape at a roundtable “Mapping Risk in 2025: Global and Regional Business Impact” hosted by SGE in Zurich with speaker Florian Otto, PhD, Principal, Control Risks. The event on January 15, 2025 began with welcome statements from Dorit Sallis, Managing Director, Joint Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Eastern Europe, Central Asia, South Caucasus JCC and Michael Kühn, Senior Consultant, Switzerland Global Enterprise. Following the thought-provoking analysis by Florian Otto based on Control Risks’ 2025 Risk Map, members could better understand the risk outlook for this year and will be able to plan their business strategy accordingly.
