JCC moderates panel at UNCTAD World Investment Forum 2018

The UNCTAD World Investment Forum 2018 on Investing in Sustainable Development (October 22 to 26) hosted a panel  on “Talking Business – Eastern Europe and Central Asia” moderated by Dorit Sallis, Managing Director, Joint Chamber of Commerce (JCC) on October 23. Speakers on the panel were as follows:

HE Mr. Daniiar Mukashev, Ambassador, Permanent Mission of Kyrgyzstan to the United Nations Office in Geneva
HE Mr. Jamshed Khamidov, Ambassador, Permanent Mission of Tajikistan to the United Nations Office in Geneva
Elena Perminova, Head of the Directorate-General for Investment Policy, Ministry of Economy, Belarus
Nurlan Zhaximbetov, Advisor to the Chairman, Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption, Kazakhstan
Hayk V. Hovhannisyan, Trade Representative to the Swiss Confederation, Armenia
Alimaa Batchuluun, Office, National Development Agency, Mongolia
Later Belarus and Armenia held a business evening at Franck Muller Geneva’s headquarters, Chateau du Grand Malagny, Genthod to showcase business opportunities in both countries and recently established joint ventures including Franck Muller’s investment in modernizing the Minsk Luch Watch Plant.
