JCC joins SECO Mission to Georgia

JCC represented by Dorit Sallis, Managing Director, joined a SECO Mission to Georgia headed by State Secretary Helene Budliger-Artieda on May 31 to June 2, 2023. Swiss companies from the renewable energy, healthcare, air travel and transportation infrastructure sectors in the delegation were there to explore opportunities for launching or expanding operations in Georgia.

Swiss Ambassador Heidi Grau hosted several valuable meetings with Swiss companies operating in Georgia, local representatives of the IFIs and other business associations at the Swiss Embassy in Tbilisi.

Official visits with Mr. Levan Davitashvili, Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia, Mr. Otar Shamugia, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and Mr. Archil Mestvirishvili, Member of the Board and Acting Governor of the National Bank of Georgia and the management of Enterprise Georgia impressed participants with the government’s commitment to strengthening business-friendly conditions and expanding the Georgian market for local and foreign investment, despite both regional and global challenges.
