JCC Azerbaijan Chapter hosts green transition business roundtable

On August 21, 2025, the JCC Azerbaijan Chapter, led by Leyla Baghirzade, hosted the SMEs Green Transition Business Roundtable at the Joint Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Eastern Europe, Central Asia, South Caucasus JCC Western Switzerland Office in Geneva.

The event brought together a delegation from the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan KOBİA (Kiçik və Orta Biznesin İnkişafı Agentliyi), headed by Orkhan Mamadov, Chairman of the Management Board. Jean-Paul PERIAT, JCC Vice President and Igor Almazov, JCC Board Members participated alongside delegates from Azerbaijan.

Event highlights:

✅ Presentation of the Joint Declaration of the Baku Climate Coalition

✅ Signing of the MoU formalizing JCC and SAFAG’s accession to the Baku Climate Coalition Declaration

✅ Strengthening collaboration opportunities in sustainable innovation, digital transformation, and SME growth

The roundtable reaffirmed JCC’s commitment to building bridges between Switzerland, Azerbaijan, and Central Asia, driving the green transition, and empowering SMEs for a sustainable future.
