Exploring infrastructure opportunities in Armenia

Building on its ongoing work to promote Armenia JCC held a webinar on  “Armenia 2024: Economic Update, Business Opportunities” on February 15, 2024 in partnership with Switzerland Global Enterprise (SGE) The webinar moderated by Dorit Sallis, Director, JCC opened with statements by H.E. Mr.  Andranik Hovhannisyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Switzerland and H.E. Mr. Lukas Rosenkranz, Ambassador fo Switzerland to Armenia.

JCC’s partner Enterprise Armenia represented by Aram Vardanyan, Investment Director presented the country’s Investment Climate and Business Landscape for FDI. This was followed by a statement by an analysis of Hovsep Patvkanyan, Head of the ICA, Lead Economist, Investment Council of Armenia (A joint project of the Government of Armenia and EBRD) who discussed Infrastructure in Armenia: Opportunities in Transportation, Energy, Water and Waste Management, Communications. Finally, Christian Michel, International Financial Institutions, Switzerland Global Enterprise (SGE) informed the audience about the Swiss Mission to Armenia that will take place on the occasion of the EBRD Annual Meeting from May 14 to 16, 2024 in Yerevan.
