JCC business lunch highlights Georgia as an attractive business destination

Georgia is an important transit hub for Asia-Europe trade and a thriving market for renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, BPO, IT and logistics distribution & storage. These factors enhanced by the EFTA-Georgia FreeTradeAgreement create new business opportunities for Swiss export and investment .

The Joint Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Eastern Europe, Central Asia, South Caucasus JCC Business Roundtable “Update Georgia: Economic and Innovation Landscape 2025” on April 8, 2025 in partnership with Switzerland Global Enterprise showcased the benefits of doing business in Georgia in an interactive format.

➡️ H.E. Mr. Shota Getsadze, Ambassador of Georgia to Switzerland offered a detailed overview of Georgia’s economic landscape and business conditions for international companies that want to set up operations in the country.

➡️ Anton Akhramovich, Head of Intelligent Systems Development, LeverX gave an in-depth view of why LeverX set up a company in Georgia and is now successfully operating in the country.

Participants including H.E. Mr. Kairat Sarzhanov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Switzerland, continued the discussion while enjoying Georgian khatchapuri at the standing lunch.
