Azerbaijan – Switzerland Investment Forum Zürich

JCC was honoured to support and coordinate the bilateral programme in Zurich (22 April) and the Azerbaijan–Switzerland Business & Investment Forum (23 April), held in the framework of the International Trade Forum 2026 (S-GE). We sincerely appreciate the strong participation and the constructive, forward-looking exchanges between Swiss and Azerbaijani business leaders and institutional representatives.

The Forum was moderated and led by Leyla Baghirzade, Board Member & Azerbaijan Chapter Chair, whose leadership and facilitation were instrumental in ensuring a focused and high-level dialogue. We also extend our thanks to Sven Henniger (Co-CEO, Board Member) for his great work and close coordination and operational support throughout the programme.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Switzerland and the Azerbaijani delegation for their leadership and presence, including

H.E. Fuad Isgandarov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan,

as well as the Trade Mission team:

Dr. Nemat Naghdaliyev, Trade Representative of Azerbaijan to Central European Countries and Minister-Counselor at the Embassy of Azerbaijan, and
Mr. Mirza Aliyev, Advisor to the Trade Envoy of Azerbaijan to Central European countries.

The programme highlighted Azerbaijan’s economic landscape, investment opportunities in the Garabagh region, industrial parks, and the Alat Free Economic Zone, followed by valuable networking among senior decision-makers.

JCC looks forward to continuing the dialogue and supporting concrete follow-ups and partnerships between Swiss companies and Azerbaijani counterparts.
