SUMMARY:JCC Annual General Meeting 2026 at Rieter
DESCRIPTION:On 28 April, Joint Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Eastern Europe, Central Asia, South Caucasus JCC held its Annual General Meeting. Our much-appreciated member Rieter generously hosted us at their premises in Winterthur.\nThe usual formalities had to be gone through, like the presentation of the financial results, the report on activities in 2025 and first four months of 2026, upcoming events, granting discharge to the management and the board.\nDorit Probst Sallis, who has managed JCC for 15 years, held her last JCC AGM, and has handed over her management function to Sven Henniger and Andreas Bitzi, who are acting as Co-CEOs now. Marcel Pawlicek also stepped down from his position. He was JCC president for many years and made a tremendous job, too. We are not losing Marcel, he will continue working as a VP in the board.\nWe would like to thank Dorit and Marcel for their tremendous work for JCC through all these years, making it a major chamber of commerce.\nNewly elected board members are Alberto Silini (S-GE Switzerland Global Enterprise) and Nikolaus Kohler (MMIH Militzer & Münch International Holding AG). Nikolaus is taking over the position from Marcel Pawlicek as President of the Board\nCongratulations to both, we are looking forward to a great cooperation!\nWhile new members joined the board, Arthur Strub (Individual, formerly Credit Suiss), Marielle Henchoz (Federation Horlogere Suisse), Luca Moretti (Morgaine SA) and Patrick Flamm (Rieter) has resigned from the board. Thanks to all of them for their precious contribution to the development of JCC for many years.\nAfter the official part, Dorit Probst Sallis presented The The Twin Star Project Star Project, an NGO supporting reintegration of refugees in their home countries, where Dorit is going to continue working with her full passion.\nRieter’s Vasileios Kalos, Head of Short Staple Division & Member of the Group Executive Committee, presented his company’s experience and outlook in Central Asia and South Caucasus, followed by tour of Rieter’s machiney laboratory, where the company has its state-of-the art machinery running for demonstration and experimental purposes.\nAll the participants were highly impressed by the high technology used in fiber processing and the massive know-how used in the production processes that lead to our clothes – something one could hardly imagine! A Swiss world class technology leader at its best!     \nFinally, there was a very tasty networking reception.\nLast but not least, big thanks to Rieter for hosting us and giving insights into their world, and to all the active participants!\n#JCC #Jointchambers #JointChamberofCommerce #BusinessSwitzerland #Rieter\n
