SUMMARY:JCC Annual General Meeting 2025 takes place at JTI Geneva
DESCRIPTION:The Joint Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Eastern Europe, Central Asia, South Caucasus JCC Annual General Meeting took place this week (May 7, 2025) at JTI Headquarters, Geneva. We were delighted to hold our key event of the year at the impressive home of JTI with its innovative architecture and perfect view of Lake Geneva, and to experience the generous hospitality of the JTI team.\nThe AGM was presided over by Marcel Pawlicek, JCC President and Dorit Sallis, Managing Director. On the occasion, the members voted in a new board member Valentina Ceban, Honorary Consul of Moldova. We also welcomed some new representatives of companies, including Patrick Flamm, Sales Europe, CIS, Fr. Africa, Rieter AG who replaces Thomas Anwander; Xavier Cornut, Consultant, Europe and CIS, Switzerland Global Enterprise who replaces Michael Kuehn and Gina Schmied, Head of Division, Europe and Central Asia, SECO, who is on the board ex officio.\nThe following board members were re-elected: Henrik Eklund, Vice President Middle East, Africa & Eastern Europe, Services Division, Burckhardt Compression; Igor Almazov, Key Account Manager, Hitachi Energy; Marcel Pawlicek, President & CEO, Pawlicek Mandate and Roger Sonderegger, Head of Industrial Sectors, Swissmem.\nWe bid a fond farewell to Michael Kuehn who after 10 years on the board is now concentrating on the UK and Nordics at SGE and Urs Klingelfuss, Partner, Dr. J. Bollag & Cie. AG who is retiring after over 20 years as a board member. We thank Michael and Urs for their outstanding service.\nAfter the AGM the keynote presentation by Lucine Ovumyan, Senior VP, Corporate Affairs and Communications, JTI showcased “JTI’s Business in Central Asia and the SouthCaucasus”. We were\nhonoured to have with us the Ambassadors of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan for the keynote presentation, tour of the company and networking reception that followed.\nJCC thanks its wonderful JTI hosts and members for their support, engagement and commitment to JCC in 2025!\n \n \n \n
