SUMMARY:Supply chain optimization, a thematic focus of JCC
DESCRIPTION:On  May 2, 2023, JCC held another of its thematic webinars. The topic this time was “Supply Chain Challenges and Solutions: How to Improve Efficiency and Reduce Cost in Your Logistics Operations”.  The impact of the pandemic continues to disrupt the supply chain ecosystem with new and unforeseen barriers to both productivity and profitability. According to experts, the following are 2023’s biggest supply chain challenges faced by product-based businesses from all over the globe: Material scarcity, increasing freight prices, difficult demand forecasting, port congestion, changing consumer attitudes, digital transformation, brand restructuring and inflation.\nThe pandemic has not only amplified the need for greater supply chain optimization, but the need for faster decision-making, too. That’s why, according to Gartner (a leading research and advisory company): “Through 2024, 50% of supply chain organizations will invest in applications that support artificial intelligence and advanced analytics capabilities.”\nAt the webinar,  Clemens Kretschmer, Head of Business Development Germany, Switzerland, LeverX Group, discussed ways to overcome challenges and prepare for a new era of AI-driven supply chain management at our webinar.\n \n \n
