DESCRIPTION:JCC and Enterprise Armenia signed an MoU on collaboration to promote bilateral Swiss-Armenia trade and investment. The ceremony took place at the webinar on “Update Armenia II: Armenia as an IT and R&D Nearshoring Destination” on February 8, 2022.\nThe webinar moderated by Dorit Sallis, Managing Director, JCC opened with a welcome from H.E. Mr. Davit Sahakyan, Deputy Minister, Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia and Levon Ohanesyan, General Director, Enteprise Armenia. H.E. Mr. Andranik Hovhannisyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Switzerland made a statement on bilateral Swiss-Armenian cooperation. Stefan Klötzli, Chargé d’affairs a.i., Embassy of Switzerland in the Republic of Armenia discussed Swiss support in Armenia. Investment Climate and Business Opportunities were showcased by Aram Vardanyan, Investment Director, Enterprise Armenia. Development trends of Armenia’s high tech sector was the focus of Ani Toronyan, Senior Innovation Specialist at the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia.
