The JCC supports economic relations between Switzerland and Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus. It does so by promoting business opportunity through the provision of current information and organizing events that showcase economic possibilities and provide contacts to key individuals and organizations in the countries it represents. Furthermore, JCC provides the following services to facilitate members' business operations in these countries
- Information Clearinghouse
The chamber offers specialized information on the following:
- business opportunities
- companies, products and markets
- laws, tax and customs regulations
- preliminary information on structuring and establishing a legal presence in a partner country
- operational and salary costs
- Contact Catalyst
It constitutes a platform and framework for members to meet representatives from the target countries, including businesspeople, local partners, government representatives and other individuals who can facilitate their business in the target countries.
- Preliminary Service Provider and Referral Agency
Should members require the following specialized services, the chamber will identify and mobilize the relevant expertise in order to deal with the issue:
- Site selection
- Establishing a legal presence in the country
- Due diligence of potential partners
- Problems in VAT
- Financial recovery of outstanding debts
- Legal service provider
- Project financing
- Banking services
- Other consulting services (including market entry strategy, business planning etc.)
JCC charges a fee to process clients' requests. The amount will depend on the time and expertise required to provide the service requested.
